YEAH IOWA is awful they had every chance to win the game against osu but lose because of a stupid play running out the clock going into overtime then not going for the field goal. someone needs to fire the coach.

i disagree. they had the ball in their own territory with 30 seconds left. a mistake could have cost them the game without the chance of overtime.
what did cost them, however, was the dropped touchdown (only 1 among many drops), and not getting at least a field goal in the first overtime. a field goal there would have given them a viable chance to win - their defense was playing pretty outstanding IMO. That overtime possession was the worst execution they had all day. Bad timing.Comment -

Iowa just proved two things. First, Ferentz is not nealy as good a coach as people think. He completely blew the O.T. Second. The Big Ten is really weak. If Ohio State had to go to OT at home to beat a crippled Iowa team, that is really bad. Oregon or Stanford kill them in the Rose Bowl.Comment -
