    Troy +14
I'm looking at this and Troy has been decent. They 6-1 ATS last 7 games but those were creampuffs. Yet, the Razorbacks haven't exactly produced fireworks on the field. Can you guys give me your input?

I've lived in Arkansas my entire life, been a hog fan my entire life, and was at the Ark v. South Carolina game last weekend.

    Here is my take:

Ryan Mallett is the real deal. Our offense has completely shifted toward Petrino's style and away from Houston Nutt's up the gut mentality. They are playing in Fayetteville, which is a tough place for any team to play. Last week, the first half wasn't too impressive. Tied 10-10 at the half, then Ark went down 16-10 early in the 3rd. From there, they scored 23 unanswered to win 33-16. Their defense has stepped up since the Auburn game this year. They beat Auburn, should have beat Florida, lose to Ole Miss, murder EMU, and beat South Carolina. Their defense has gotten better all year and our offense is very balanced now. I know Troy is pretty good this year, but Arkansas has played them very often in the last decade. I don't believe it has ever been too close.

Being 1 win away from a bowl, playing at home, I see Arkansas' defense continuing to improve and Mallett continuing to play well. My score estimation is Ark 42-20.

Doesnt Arkansas have suspensions in this game? Either way I think Troy keeps it close.

          Arkansas basketball is not football.

              Line's at 13.5

I think Arkansas is going to stomped them. Troy is not the Troy of years gone by.

There were places it was still @ +14 and the line has moved down to to 13 and 13.5 now though. Of Course this line might be moving down so the sharps can reverse and pound on Arkansas as the game gets closer. Maybe OP got the line earlier on?

Troy is not the same team as years past you are correct.
Arkansas isn't looking ahead to Miss St or LSU I can tell you this. Petrino will have these guys on a mission to secure a bowl game (his first at Arkansas).

As I said in another thread Maybe Troy covers to 14 on a backdoor but I see this being 21-28 point game in Fayetteville.

Arkansas has been working on the running game as of late and it's been on fire in the last few games. Joe Adams who is the #1 WR for Arkansas came back last game and looked terrific. The TE who caught 60+ passes last year is getting more involved.

Arkansas passes for 350+ yards and runs for another 150-200 yards.

Come next week against Miss St well that's another story, but this is Arkansas @ home against Troy. I'll take Ark which I have bet and I rarely bet on my home team and I'll also tease it to 6.5 with some other pro teams such as New Orleans, Baltimore and Denver.
