Just can't pass up spots like this where I am getting the better team and more than a touchdown handicap. This line of 7 1/2 is just way too high. Even with the game being played at Louisville I call this a PK game.
Folks, bluntly put LOUISVILLE SUCKS. This team does not have a single impressive win all year long. Their 3 wins have come against Indiana State, Southern Miss by 2, and Arkansas State by 8. Syracuse has at least beaten Northwestern, the team that knocked off top 5 unbeaten Iowa. Syracuse also played Minnesota to a 3 point loss.
Both teams come in with remarkably similar numbers. They are both 0-4 in the Big East, both 3-6 overall. Louisville is -67 on score differential, while Syracuse is -73. Very close numbers. The big difference that sticks out to me is that Syracuse has played a terribly stronger schedule. It seems that the Orange is playing a juggernaut every week.
Syracuse lost by 3 to Minnesota, by 21 to Cincinatti, by 21 to West Virginia, and by 27 to Pitt. There is just no way I see Louisville beating this team be even a fraction of those totals as Louisville is not near as good as those teams.
Similar opponents - Last week Pitt Beat Syracuse 37-10 at Pitt. Pitt beat Louisville 35-10 at Louisville. Syracuse lost by 21 to Cincinatti while Louisville lost by 31 in that game.
Louisville has only one win of this many points all year and even that win makes me think Syracuse is the play in this game. Louisville did beat Indiana State 30-10. The next 3 games Indiana State played, they lost 31-0, 41-0, and 28-0 all against sub division teams that most people have never heard of. In fact, during that month, the only points Indiana State scored was the 10 points against Louisville. Indiana State has been shut out 5 times and held to 7 or less 7 times this year.
At the QB position Syracuse has a massive advantage. Greg Paulus has got it going now in his first year as starting QB. He has 144 completions in 211 attempts for 1500 yards and 10 TD's. The 2 Louisville Qb's cant touch that. Louisville QB Will Stein has 43 completions in 78 attempts for 0 TD, while their other QB Froman is 62-97 with 3 TD's and 3 INT's.
Paulus Numbers have been pretty decent against some very good defenses, and this week he will be seeing the second worst defense that he has faced all season long. I think he will have a big day along with running back Delonte Carter.
honestly, I think Syracuse wins this game but i am feeling really good win the + 7 1/2 so that is the play.
Good Luck ( Unless you fade me )
