I don't love VA Tech. But I will make a small wager on them. I'm guessing East Carolina will struggle against a solid team like VA Tech.

East Carolina got pounded by West Va and UNC. Both those games were on the road, but home field isn't going to help them that much. Esp. now that Va Tech is out for revenge after losing to UNC on national television. I expect Va Tech to a very hungry, aggressive football team.

Home field isn't going to help ECU that much? What are you smoking? And ECU didn't get "pounded by WVU and UNC". It was around two touchdowns for both of those games and those games were on the road. ECU=Undefeated at home and home field helps ECU more than you can ever imagine. You will see.

Yeah im really starting to like ECU + 14 (buy the half) ECU has a slight edge on both lines imo, if UNCs offensive line can push around VT why cant ECU's o-line? ECUs o-line all srs and jrs avg weight 310lbs. they must be getting the job done up front dominique lindsay is avg 5.8 yac. just the pass defense for ECU is terrible still not sure... I think we are all in agreement that this game means alot more to ECU. This is ECU's biggest game of the year coach holtz calling for a "pirate out" lol this is ECU's super bowl.

Last week people were inexplicably on Va Tech. minus double digits against North Carolina. That spread was waaaaay too high but people still love Va Tech We all know what happend.

Now a week later Va Tech. is playing East Carolina and they are only favored by a couple points more and people like East Carolina? This is how Vegas makes their money. Put out a stupid line on a favorite that people jump on.....the team loses straight up, and the next week you have a low line and people like the dog because they are mad about the team from the previous week.

There is no reason to take East Carolina in the spot.....unless their win over memphis really impressed you.........it's Va. Tech or no play.
