I'm assuming most of us bet online correct? If your book puts out a line in error and you jump on it, are you expecting to get paid? You shouldn't be. Lines like this that are clearly wrong will be canceled by your online book or local bookie. Cant see the benfit in even playing the line. Your bookie or book will know you tried to take advantage of them and this will not look good for you in the future.

I called this in to my local asian bookie. They get more action on NFL games then NCAAF. Some of the guys I know here are nuts when it comes to NFL. I know one guy who lost over 100k 2 years ago and won it back last year.

The most money I ever made was when I had a local that took correlated parlays. He would let you parlay a team's first half line with the game line, over/unders too. He also made wacky adjustments based off of the action he was receiving. It was not uncommon for him to move a MNF line 7 points. Played him against the offshore all season.

If any book gives me an edge, I am playing it. Surprisingly he went out of business.

Seems like a rare case, situations like that are free $. But as you said never last long. This is a different situation though. Line was -6 and given at +6. Not just some knee jerk line movement.
