    Rutgers / Army Total
I see a total of 39 in many places. I understand both teams are run oriented, but 39? Each team has gone under this total once the entire season and should do it again tonight. Looking for a 24-7 Rutgers type score. Thoughts?

I expect the score to be closer, but the under looks like a strong play to me as well. 17-14, 16-13 type game seems realistic. Rutgers' defense has been bad, but mostly against the pass. Their run defense is ok, so I don't expect Army to run all day on them. On the other side, Rutgers' QB play has been terrible this year, I'm guessing Savage is starting again. Army's defense is actually better than some people may think; I expect Rutgers to have a hard time consistently moving the chains.

        Savage is the better QB.

He is going to throw ALL OVER ARMY tonight....

Then they will unleash the RUNNING BEASTS from RUTGERS and how will Army stop them? Rutgers is playing for Bowl eligibility tonight just like Florida State last night.

Tell me how this final score is not Rutgers 45 Army 10.

Savage is better, but he still stinks. I don't expect him to be throwing all over anyone, unless he gets to play Howard again. Army is also playing for bowl eligibility just like Florida State last night. If, however you really feel strongly, I'll bet you my whopping 23 SBR points on Army +34.

Actually, Rutger's run defense is pretty damn good....they have only given up 91.5 ypg and Army isn't horrible either where they have only given up 114.0 per game.

Where it differs is that Rutgers gives up much more through the air than the Army but then again, the Army can't throw the damn ball. Army only averages 66.1 pass yards per game.

The trick with both Army's and Rutgers' run defense, however, is that those numbers are both inflated by the fact that they've played garbage. I also believe that Cincinnati and Pittsburgh each averaged around 5 yards per carry against Rutgers (I don't remember exactly); I don't think Army's that good on the ground, but my point is their run defense probably isn't as good as the ypg indicates.

If Rutgers puts in De'Antwan Williams early instead of late........

How is Army going to stop him..........He is a BEAST.....A BEAST I SAY..

If either team tries to throw the ball, the game will get ugly quick. We should see a lot of 3rd and 7 runs tonight. The over/under also depends on how the clock keeper decides to manage the clock on that given night. By the way, what a terrible game to put on Friday night.

                    Tim Brown.........Gonna go off tonight.
                    Tom Savage.......Gonna go off tonight.
                    Mohamed Sanu....Gonna go off tonight.
De'Antwan Willimas......Gonna go REALLY off tonight.

It's gonna get ugly by the middle of the second quarter....

Army will come out all pumped up and then.................WHAM BAM!

Rutgers scores 28 before halftime and Army goes into the locker room crying and sobbing and throwing things and then they will remember getting BEAT DOWN by Temple and give up another 30 in the second half......

Army will score a late "Feel Good" TD with about 2 minutes left........but by then Rutgers will have the 4th string in so no real big deal.

                    Rutgers 52 Army 10

everybody thinks army wont score double digits, army will score 14 or more and Rutgers will score the rest for the over 38. If army can move the ball on Vandy, they can work the option on rutgers.

Lol...if every game were this easy. Fortunate fumble at the end though.

I shouldve propped both of our predictions...that would've been some serious loot. Nice work.
