This makes me laugh and is spot on Dbl. His comment illustrates the general perception of some that Rutgers is still 2006/2007 Rutgers. It's also funny that if you had asked me in 2000, if by 2009 people would have said "Rutgers is still Rutgers" and meant it in a positive way, I'd have said you were crazy.

Explain please how Rutgers does not lay 40 on them.

The logic is that Army isn't going to have to keep up score for score because there isn't going to be a ton of scoring. Rutgers' offense stinks, flat out. I like how Army matches up with them, particularly with a little extra home motivation. Like I said in the O/U thread, a 16-13 type score wouldn't surprise me at all.

i prob shouldn't even put my 2 cents in, i am having a bad week, dang gone tulsa, and north carolina, come on 24-6, but every body one here is right they are both bad teams, with that said i believe the score will be close, army +10.5, one fellow was def right don't put no serious money down, their are good lines this week, best of luck, min bet have fun

I gave them credit, I said it was there best game. However, you keep pointing to the Pitt and Cincy games like Rutgers should get a ton of bonus points for losing at home to good teams. They showed absolutely nothing vs. Cincy. The Pittsburgh game was a huge game for Rutgers, nationally televised, conference game, and at home. It was their best played game of the year, and they still lost while failing to cover. I don't expect their motivation level to be anywhere near that tonight.

I'm totally conflicted on this game so I'll be making this a sandwich bet... Only enough money to buy a peanut butter sandwich :-)

My mind tells me that Rutgers controls both line of scrimmages and dominates in a methodical way to win like 24-10 but my heart tells me both teams will look horrible on offense and it becomes a boring defensive struggle, like Rutgers 13-3. I may not even watch this game to be honest. This has boring written all over it. BOL
