Monday Football Recap: 10/19 (SBR.tv Video)

SBR.tv's Peter Loshak starts a new weekly video he'll be doing on SBR.tv, reviewing some of the notable games from the previous weekend, relaying where the sharp and public action was, and looking ahead to next week's games and reporting anything interesting he gets from various sportsbook sources.

This week, in the NFL the outright wins by Buffalo and Oakland killed popular teasers and parlays, spurring a great week for the books. The books also made out well on the Giants/Saints showdown, with the public overwhelmingly backing the Giants. It wasn't all winners for the books however, as Tennessee is reportedly getting little action from anyone these days, and New England's blowout win resulted in losses for the books.

In college football, sharp money favored Notre Dame, while the public backed USC, resulting in big wins for the books. Georgia Tech and Purdue were also winning sides the sharp action favored, but the sharps lost and the public won with Iowa winning outright over Wisconsin.

The upcoming Oklahoma/Kansas game has seen a lot of early split sharp action, with the books not sure what is real and what is meant to move the line. The line in that one has bounced back and forth across the 7, and it will be interesting to see where it settles.

On the Monday night game, the public is strongly favoring San Diego, with little sharp action as yet.
