I like Navy and SMU. Although I'm still on the fence about SMU. Houston has no pass defense so it should be a shootout in which case, the spread should play a huge factor. BOL this week. Feel free to check out my pics if you get a chance.

This is a Big Play for me fellas. Tulsa will roll. UTEP caught Houston in a huge letdown spot, after they beat TX Tech. Houston's coaching staff came from TX Tech, and they wanted that one bad. UTEP has lost at home, to a team with less offensive advantages, Buffalo. UTEP did us a great favor beating Houston in the letdown spot, b/c now the public will think UTEP has some home field advantage. NOPE.

Tulsa has gotten a "Moral Victory", by staying close with Boise State, a top 5 team. They are an offensive powerhouse. Don't pile on them for not covering against Rice on the road. They had Boise State coming up next, and were not as focused as I think they will be for the rest of the season. They need to win out for a bowl game.

Like most schools who are in states that border TX, much of Tulsa's, roster are TX natives. They will play hard and roll.

Last years score, 77-35, Tulsa.

Ya'll are sleeping on Tulsa. I got them at -7, and now its -8 at my book. I see -7.5 to -8 on SBRodds.com

No longer can you get that opening number. It will climb high. UTEP sucks, even at home. Tulsa's D is much better than Houston's.

--- So Carolina = Terrific D/ Horrible & INJ O. Vandy = Pathetic. They have scored 3, 7, and 10 in their last 3 home games. Wonder how they will do on the road against a great D?

My Strong Opinion

Tulsa/UTEP UNDER 58

Tulsa has received and avg O/U of 61 in its 6 games this season. All have gone UNDER.
--- Sharp Rule 548: Never bet against streaks of 3 or more.

UTEP... well let me say this.. They scored a whopping 7 pts against Kansas while @ home. Kansas has allowed an avg of 29pts since that time, this all against mediocre comp. UTEP has been out-rushed in every game this season, save the Houston debacle. UTEP allows teams to sustain long time consuming drives.

Enough said.
I am not playing this since I already have all my gambling stipend tied up in other CFB, and NFL plays. But guys jump on this. I wish I could refund a bet, and I will not dip into the Bank account. I'm weird like that, but I urge fellow bettors to jump on this opportunity. Also for those who like to fade the Public, I'm seeing 70%+ on the OVER at Pregame.com

Yes. I expect blowout. Anything -7.5 to -9.5 is all the same. Games rarely land on those numbers.

Same for underdogs, as they gain no extra advantage in that number range until 10.

I know, but its value relies on the push. I knew that line would evaporate, since the game was so early in the week.

The line is only going up though. The books misjudged the Public's perception of UTEP @ home. They hold no real advantage their, and Tulsa is a more relevant team to casual bettors than UTEP.

Buy the hook if you are betting online.

--- Remember these two shockers... Wash over USC, and Houston over Texas Tech. The similarities with the Miss St. v Florida game is that all of those underdogs that won, had recently coached at the favorites schools.

These type of matchups are always close due to familiarity with each other. Florida has the talent, but Dan Mullen, HC at Miss St, knows every thing about them. From the roster to the scheme. This should even out the game, and give the edge to the home team.

I'm on a small parlay with Tulsa and the under here as well. I dont see these teams combining for 60+ in this one. This Tulsa offense isnt as good as last years, and their defense is better. And like you said UTEP will not be able to put up points like they did on Houston. Houston has a pretty poor defense.

You finally added a game I could fully be onboard with. Miss St should, that's SHOULD be able to keep this game inside the number. I'm not down yet but already have suggested this as a play, just usually rather miss an opportunity than bet against my guys. The itch is real though and I'm sure Miss St is money. Kind of think Arky is ML material against Ole' Miss. Haven't dropped anything there yet either.
