Washington +13
I can't remember the last time ND covered a spread. This team has talent, no doubt, but their ability to produce on the field week in and week out is questionable. Washington looks like a football team compared to recent years where they looked like a cheerleading squad. I expect Clausen and Locker to go toe to toe in a fairly close game.
Arkansas St +20
While I respect the quality of Iowa's win, let's not get ahead of ourselves. They are a defense first team. I also typically bet against the team that won the marquee matchup the week before on principle because of the inflated line that will invariably come because of their victory. I'm going to wait for this one to get to 21+.
Pitt -6.5
This is Pitt's season right here. Another loss and their shot at the Big East title is all but finished. If nothing else the players should be extremely motivated for a win, whereas the Louisville program is headed in the opposite direction. Even though it's on the road, I'll lay the points.
Penn St -6.5
This isn't so much stating that I still have confidence in Penn St;s program as much as it is my disrespect for the Illini, who appear lost on offense. Juice Williams has not progressed as a QB ever since the team's good season a few years ago, and the team appears lost and out of sync most every Saturday. Facing a defense as good as Penn St's will not be helpful for them to get their rhythm back, and I expect Penn St to come in and punch them in the mouth.
BOL to everyone this week.
