LSU travels to Athens to face a up and down Georgia team. Even though this could be a dreaded look ahead game...LSU seems to be the play. I don't think Joe Cox will be able to make sharp decisions against a fast defense. UGA has covered something like 3 out of it's last 16 games. The question is will LSU be focused on UGA or the health of Tebow and UF?

I am shocked that UGA is favored but I guess with the home field it makes sense.
Stay away game if you ask me, no way I take UGA in this oneComment -

#8LSU is only underachieving to you. They are playing exactly the way I thought they would. Lafells and the other kid i cant remember his name are solid.(toliver?) Charles Scott has been mediocre, and this sheppard kid isnt one tenth of what he was advertised to be by you. Week from Saturday you will be taking gator cock in your tiger ass."This is why my basketball intelligence is unmatched on this site. I'm sure there are better cappers but no one can tell you the strategies of most coaches before the game even starts "

Man LSU has to much talent. These coaches are not using them correctly. He only giving Sheppard 3 carries a game and calling it a day. WHY RECRUIT HIM IF YOUR GOING TO USE HIM LIKE THAT??? IT'S FUSTRATING!!Comment -

I know the feeling. UGA has the 2nd or 3rd most talent in the SEC...but has the coaching of a fence post. The defense was ranked 100something as of last week and they have 7-8 starters on defense that will be drafted in the NFL. That's not counting the young players that will eventually develop. These are two pretty good teams with two fan bases that think their team is horrible.Comment -

#12I normally don't bet on UGA because they find bonehead ways of not covering but they are going to beat LSU this week. Les Miles is just as bad as Richt in coaching up the talent but UGA's offense gives LSU fits with it's tall WR's and play action. Cox suck cocks but he should be serviceable if he doesn't make mistakes. A bad UGA beat the shit out of a bad LSU last year and I expect the same thing this year. I'm riding UGA even thought both teams are shit...Originally posted by Shafted69UGA will destroy LSU in this game. #15I think Houston, TCU and Boise all deserve top 10 rankings even though their schedules are soft. They aren't elite but they deserve to be top 10 at this point. LSU deserves to be #4 by virtue of the win at Washington but they don't look like it. Now if LSU wins the next few games then everything changes. It's not how you win but that you win. UF looked awful in a lot of games in 2006 but it worked out in the end.Originally posted by ZBOIZNo one deserves to be in the top 10 in my eyes Mac unless your Alabama or Florida.
I just don't have a lot of confidence in LM as a in game coach. I've said it for years and now a few of my LSU buddies are finally agreeing with me. I've said the same thing about Richt but UGA fans still don't see it. This will be an interesting game to watch for sure.

#16Les Miles is a good coach in my eyes. I just don't like his respect to freshman's. He have a big thing on seniority. Also LSU has the talent to be #4 they have just underplayed themselves dramatically. But LSU will not come out of October undefeated. No one in the country will come out of LSU schedule undefeated. We have Ole Miss, Bama, Georgia, and Florida. Thats a tough schedule. I see is losing 2 to 3 games this year. But I do see us beating Florida at home and losing to Bama on the road.Comment -

#17Also these are the players Les Miles developed while he was there:
1) Dwayne Bowe
2)Tyson Jackson
3) Glen Dorsey
4)Jamarcus Russel
5)Jacob Hester
All those players were under Miles for 3 years except Russel and were trained under him. So Miles has put together some nice players. Current players Tolliver (who has blossomed this year and Lafell)Comment -

#18AJ Green is the best receiver in the history of Georgia Football.
no one can stop him except his own quarterback by making bad throws.
if he stays healthy he could be one of the greatest to ever play the game.
if you could create a video game WR, its AJ Green. 6'4 210 incredible speed, quickness, body control, leaping ability, amazing hands.

#25Wow, Z, I thought you watched the SEC. Are you giving home field that much of an advantage? Have you checked UF/Bama stats. UF leads the SEC in 6 categories while Bama leads in just 3. UF not only has the defense but the offense is much more consistent then Bama with a much better QB (Tebow will play).Originally posted by ZBOIZLes Miles is a good coach in my eyes. I'm wondering where are all these people getting that Bama is better then UF from last year to this year when UF's defense got better and the offensive line is better as well??? There are a lot of Bama believers maybe because they watch too much TV but if you ask Vegas based on odds, UF is the considerable favorite. Bama is behind UF, UT and USC still. Unless you know something I don't, there is no reason to believe that LSU can beat UF but not beat Bama. We match up to LSU much better than Bama does. I think your letting your heart lead your logic.
I think LSU is going to lose to UGA and UF. I also think you lose to Bama as well but not by as much. We shall see.Comment -

#30I much rather have a guy with durability issues then a Diva who you can't even sign. Harvin will be ok because most tacklers can't get a good hit on him. He has that elusiveness which makes it hard to hit. He usually get's hurt at the bottom of a pile. So do many other guys.Originally posted by Shafted69durability issues. smaller frames get hurt easily. i.e. felix jones, reggie bush, etc.
Small frame? Have you seen PH in person? This guy is a pocket rocket. He is strong as shit. Darious Bey isn't much bigger. Plus Darius Bey can't even beat out Louis Murphy who was PH's backup at UF.
Percy Harvin is the kind of talent that comes around every decade. Anyone that couldn't see that shouldn't be evaluating talent. Brett Favre's been around forever and he immediately remarked that this kid is unique.Comment -

Harvin had top-10 talent but that he fell to No. 22 because of three reasons: 1) his history of injuries; 2) the report that he tested positive for marijuana at the NFL combine; and 3) his history of being an egocentric, selfish diva with a history of attitude problems.
If only LSU would utilize Holliday like UF did with Harvin & Murphy, he'd definitely be a 1st rounder.Comment -

#34LSU's saving grace (maybe the only one insofar of what I've seen) is some kind -- any kind -- of a running game, and, from what I've seen of UGA, they (UGA) have the personnel to completely shut that down, even if the defensive coaching for Georgia has been very questionable so far.Comment -
