The more i look back @ Miami vs. Florida State and then what Florida State did the following week makes me sour on Miami.
I think Georgia Tech wins outright as well frustrating the Miami defense.

Actually the line is fishy because UM is favored by that much (-4.5 and moving to -5.5 places) or at all - not because they are favored. If you give 3 points for home field that means that UM opened at -1.5 on a neutral field. GT is ranked 13ish and UM is ranked 22ish. The action on the game is almost 50-50. As a general rule I always play the lowered ranked or unranked team if they open as a favorite against a higher ranked team.

Be careful - this might be one to lay off of.

ESPN game...higher team is Dog..it appears a little more is on Tech but the spread is going the wrong way..almost like they are begging you to take GTech.
I think the play is Miami or fade.....also lean on under

The problem is that your logic for making the pick is flawed. Trying to figure out who is better - Clemson or Florida St and then using that as a basis to make a pick in this game is ignorant. I'm not saying you won't win this particular bet but you will go broke trying to pick games that way.

How do some of you figure that this game is going on the under?

I sense fire works in this game...I see it going into the 60's...

well...maybe i'm saying this because I bet heavy on the over.

that isn't my thinking. i was only countering people who were basing this pick on that same theory, that gt almost lost to an alledgedly inferior clemson and that the florida state win was so grand for miami.

gt is just a better team than miami, with better coaches

                      Your thread says it all:

GT ML is the play tonight.

Miami is NOT there yet.............GT is.

Take the GT ML..........sit back and have some great sex with your lady after you cash that winner winner chicken dinner.

as THEY SAY ALLS IT TAKES IS ONE BAD PLAY TO TURN THE TABLE AND THE CANES HAD A BYE WEEK TO STUDY AND PLAN FOR GT HERE A NOTE FROM VEGAS INSIDER

                        Matchup: Georgia Tech at Miami
                        Time: 7:45pm
                        9/17 Free Pick: MIAMI -4 (-110)
Analysis: Im sticking with the Canes at home since the Yellow Jackets are 0-5 ATS in Thursday night road games. The Cane's also come off a labor day victory vs. FSU, so they are comming off a bye week with plenty of time to prepare for the Triple option. The Cane's have turned the Tide as they are feeling ood about themselves and know they have to win these early games as the schedule is difficult. GT offens eis getting alot of hype but really didn't produce too much last Thursday vs Clemson, look for the Canes to shut down the rushing attack.

Clemson has always played the Triple Option tough... they have two GREAT Defensive Ends.

Great reasoning. Hawkins must have been on McCain, since the previous 43 presidents were white.
