question regarding offensive yards per play calculation

let say the stat sheet says a team rushed for 40-100 yard
Passed 40-60 for 200 yards
Sacked 3 times for a loss of 10 yards

Would the equation now be total plays 103 for 290 yards
or would it be 100 plays for 300?

I tend to think the sacked 3 times has to be counted as offensive plays....

Thoughts?

Yards per play......................plays that resulted in sacks count as plays..............
