Maryland is just so effing inconsistent that it's hard to know how they'll play. I think they can keep it within 21, but the question is will they. Last year they showed up for most of their "bigger" games, but got crushed by a few garbage teams. I'm debating throwing down a small bet on it if it's still that wide near gameday, but it certainly isn't anything I'd bet big.
Side note: ACC just partnered with the Sun Bowl, so we'll have another ACC/PAC-10 matchup every year now.Comment -

To me this seems like an easy Maryland play. Here are some tid bits on last years game at Cal.

Also Cal has to prove they have more than 1 playmaker. You cant cover a 21 point spread with 1 playmaker. But on the other hand Cal do return a pretty good defense, and Maryland offense is not all that good. I believe Maryland offensive line is questionable. They have holes to fill. I think I will lean under 52 in this game also.Comment -

I would take the 21 if Maryland had some offense but there offense has to many questions at the Oline position. And that's to critical on the road in the pacific time zone.Comment
