All right fellas, it's good to be back and talking football. As far as this game goes, I'm either laying off or taking the over. People talking about OU only returning 1 starter on the O-line just don't watch Sooner football. Technically that is true but, Brian Simmons played starter minutes last year and is far from inexperienced. I know OU's 1st and 2nd string centers are out and Brody Eldridge (backup TE) will be starting at Center. The snaps could be an issue, but as far as blocking is concerned, Kevin Wilson (current OC and former O-line coach) said Eldridge is the best blocker on the team. I fully see the Sooners scoring 45-55 points. Conversely, BYU has a pretty good offense as well and I never underestimate what a great QB can do. I wouldn't be suprised if Max Hall lead the Cougars to 21-28 points. Regardless, I have my cooler packed with cold ones and brats. I'll be in the tailgate parking lot around noon getting torn up! I can't wait to see Jerry World up close and a great game!
