The AP Top 25 teams list is out, and 9 of them will NOT be playing in the fall. 3 of those teams are in the Top 10. This is all becoming a major joke. At this point, I know that many people who wager on College Football BIG TIME are going to pass on the action this season because there are way too many intangibles to try and figure out. Most people who wager large sums of money on games are white. Most players are Black. Black players are far more likely to catch Covid-19 than White players and the White gamblers know this. Most schools who want to play in the fall are in the South, and if anyone thinks for a moment that people in the South are concerned with the health of a Black player, I suggest you read the newspapers. What will happen if Alabama RB Najee Harris tests positive for Covid-19 two days before their scheduled game against Georgia? Will the books allow the players to cancel their wagers? Will the books automatically cancel ALL wagers on the game? There are just too many unknowns and potential problems to waste time on College Football this season. Most of the guys I know who actually wager the maximum posted allowable wagers and MORE on games, are going to pass. I probably will do the same.
