good article........ although it doesn't seem to point out the obvious. the players are already rated from high school. and services can make a little adjustment for college play (or lack thereof). it's not that big a deal
one thing that seems really interesting is teams can get recruits on transfer basis that they seldom get from high school. oregon state, illinois this year as two teams
article focuses on qb's but that's so high profile AND hit/miss..... but oregon state getting a stud DE is almost guaranteed to be make at least a moderate difference.
one last thing about transfers...... sometimes they are very disappointing. there is reason they didn't play for 2.5 years and that game inaction takes a toll too..... a little contradictory to my oregon state stud DE comment.... see mique juarez ucla/utah (although i sense there are other issues there)
