    Beating the undefeateds
It seems that there is good value on moneyline betting against the undefeated teams starting now. Temple kind of comes to mind this week. Who do you think is ripe for the picking and why ?

            did some killersports.com stuff.

looks like fading undefeated teams ATS teams later in the season is a small winner.......... moneyline, it's hard to say as they don't have the ML payout data. and i don't feel like estimating (which it would only be anyway). one thing about any sports betting or investing database and back-testing is that any errors/bad prices will be chosen by the system and shown as winner (even though it never existed)

I had Texas Tech +11 last week. Seemed like a good spot for them and was. They're both in Texas and TT probably feels like they've had a better program over the years. Baylor coach is the real deal though

baylor = amazing........ UAB was pretty darn amazing as a new program (baylor NOT new, but somewhat analogous)... maybe these programs need a fresh start.

was baylor really good ex-robert griffin? i can't remember but i think so

Baylor and TT have both been top 10 a few times in the last 10 years or so. When Michael Crabtree was at TT they were #1 at one point I think? Baylor has been one of the worst Texas teams traditionally though

Will Baylor and App St. make it to weekend undefeated? Also on Saturday, SMU is 6 point dog. I guess they are supposed to lose. Can the mountaineers come up big with everyone watching ? Their A game is ok.

Baylor should have no problems with a bad West Virginia team at home. They are 17 1/2 point favorites. Next week their real season starts, going to TCU and then hosting Oklahoma and Texas before finishing at Kansas and probably in the Big 12 Championship game against OU or who knows who else.

SMU is a different story. They go to Memphis for a big showdown game. Memphis has not lost at home this season and only on e in the last 3 seasons. The winner becomes the front runner for the Group of 5's New Years Six Bowl games spot, probably in the Cotton Bowl, and quite possibly against the above mentioned Baylor. I think Memphis wins a high scoring game, elimination SMU from the ranks of the undefeated.

I’m predicting undefeated App State loses right now the money line is +529. I’m not going crazy on it but put $20. I think the weather conditions make it run only game which Georgia southern is pretty good at and their defense is pretty good against. Also, with bad weather there are a lot more variables of things that can go wrong that give a dog more of a fighting chance.

Oh and forgot to mention my track record betting long shot underdogs has been very good. I did it with Illinois ML vs Wisconsin and Vanderbilt ML vs Missouri. I also took Illinois ml vs Purdue. Last week underdog wins I feel had a lot more to do with the weather and how it changed the matchup then anything else. I’m due to lose one of these big underdog bets but this seems like a perfect spot for a let down. My one friend who took app state didn’t not like my point of view and got pretty pissed cause he already bet it. Hey I see it how I see it.
