USC Athletic Director Lynn Swan has resigned, effective immediately. This comes as little surprise to those who follow USC Football or the university. A terrible hire to begin with, Swan's stupidity finally caught up with him during a scandal involving bribery and the USC womens soccer and men's water polo teams. New USC President Carol Folt is a known ass kicker when it comes to scandal in the Athletic Department. She oversaw the fiasco at North Carolina before firing numeros coaches. Clay Helton really needs wins now to survive at USC. If he can follow up his huge win against Stanford with a win at BYU (USC -4 1/2), he has a shot at surviving.
