    Season Team Total
    Tenn. under 7 -145

Doing more research on this one, but I don't see enough cupcakes on their schedule to get them to 8 wins to lose this bet. I don't see enough sure wins on their schedule to get them to 8 wins. I give them 2 sure wins and 4 sure losses, which means they would need to win all 6 of my projected close spread games. These are my quick takes on what I see.

    s Georgia State TBD W
Sat, Sep 7 vs BYU TBD ?
Sat, Sep 14 vs Chattanooga TBD W
    Sat, Sep 21 @ Florida TBD L
Sat, Oct 5 vs Georgia TBD L
Sat, Oct 12 vs Miss St TBD ?
    Sat, Oct 19 @ Alabama TBD L
Sat, Oct 26 vs S Carolina TBD ?
Sat, Nov 2 vs UAB TBD ?
    Sat, Nov 9 @ Kentucky TBD ?
    Sat, Nov 23 @ Missouri TBD L
Sat, Nov 30 vs Vanderbilt TBD ?

I do not see it that way at all. They start out with Georgia State, BYU, and Tenn. Chat. at home. 3-0 easy, though BYU may give them a battle for a half. Next come losses at Florida and to Georgia. 3-2. Next comes Miss. State, which is a ? but a lean to Tennessee. Next a loss at Alabama. South Crolina at home is a bit of a ? but still should be a win. UAB at home is a win. 4-3. Next are games at Kentucky and Missouri. Kentucky gets hit hard by graduation especially in the defensive side of the ball, where they lose 7 incuding the entire secondary. Mizzou may be facing sanctions and if so, who knows how they will operate, minus Drew Lock. Call this 1-1. 5-4. Vandy loses QB Shurmer, and has no defense to speak of. A win here. 6-4. With Tennessee winning one of their ? games, both being played at home, they have 7 wins. I think their chances of winning both of these games are better than losing both of them. Over 7 is the play, if you have to play this. 7 seems to be the right number.

The problem is that Tenn. isn't any good. Poorly coached and underachieving year in year out.

You should do a little more research. Tennessee returns 15 starters. They also have a new Head Coach, Jeremy Pruitt, who went 5-7 in his first year at Tennessee. He has a new OC in Jim Chaney to develop a little more fire power in the offense, which should be more efficient this season. You also list 5 ? games and a loss to Mizzou, a team staring at sanctions including a post season ban in 2019. Who knows how that team will respond to those sanctions. I think that there are many better options on the board than Tennessee over or under 7. The risk to reward ratio is way off. This is a definite pass for me.
