Very sad indeed. These guys were ranked #2 before the season started.

Didn't they fall out of the top 25 then crawl there way all the way back to #6???

They should have been playing in the " I wish I had a defense bowl" and given a more deserving program a chance to play a competitive game.

They were totally outplayed, classed, and coached.

A major sham for the BCS.

Notre Dame needs to conference up and get with the program. But blaming this totally on the BCS is a bit ignorant considering all of the factors that go into making up the BCS.
