WAKE FOREST (11-2) at LOUISVILLE (11-1)

Louisville has a distinct edge in the passing game and should be airing it out all game. The Cardinals also have a nice edge in the running game. Wake Forrest has been great at forcing turnovers (+14) and will need to force a few to have any chance in this one.

After seeing Boise State win tonight, I am thinkin that the Wake ML might deserve a half unit play!? Hell, why not? It seems anything can happen in the bowls this year! I am on Wake Forest +10.5 though... I have been on this game for a while now... Everyone should be on Lousville to cover since I'm on Wake because I can't win a game this year!

I think with these big bowl games, you have to take a serious look at any team getting double digit points. It's a total mismatch on paper, but so was Georgia Tech-West Virginia which is kind of what this game reminds me of. A defensive low scoring team vs. a high octane offense.

I'll take Wake +10. Over-under hasn't worked for me at all during bowl season, but I always trend toward the over because defense doesn't seem to shine.

If today showed anything, it's the importance of coaching. Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee all did enough to win on the field, but were beaten on the sidelines. No one has done a better coaching job than Jim Grobe this year. The Deacs are 7-1 SU and ATS as a dog this year. It would be hard for me to fade that.

Wake Forest is an incredibly solid team. I just don't think the Demon Deacons can contain Brian Brohm's passing attack, nor put up the necessary points against the Ville's defense. Good luck to all you Wake Forest supporters...

My Brain is telling me to bet on Louisville. But my brain was pretty confident in Nebraska, Michigan, and Oklahoma.

Alright lets keep the streak going? Louisville is dominant on paper as Louisville has just mauled there last 3 oppononents. Wake Forest on the other hand has played 3 modest games in the last 3. Lets buck the trend. It seems everyone is on Louisville.

I really think Louisville wins this game going away. I hate to say it b/c I would side with WF, but UL's defense is not any worse than WF's, thier offesne is a world of a lot better....and if you did some basic research you can see that WF's pass defense is ranked 98th in a conference that features almost no teams with explosive passing games...not to mention the ACC has not looked terribly sharp so far in these bowl games. I think UL is the right side here....
