Ohio State Head Coach Urban Meyer will retire on January 2nd, the day after the Rose Bowl Game and Offensive Coordinator Ryan Day will become the new Head Coach effective January 2nd. Meyer's medical situation was given as the reason he will be leaving.

Interesting.... part of me wonders if Urban isn't still a little butt hurt from the way his suspension and all that was handled earlier this year. That "apology" he gave at the press conference looked similar to a hostage speech. I'd bet that some time will be just what he needs to clear up his medical condition and he resurfaces somewhere. Guys like that just can't stay away from the game.Comment
