    Buffalo Bulls as underdog?
Buffalo played Kent State and led 44-0 at halftime.
Buffalo played Miami of Ohio and led 28-21 at halftime.

    Both games were played away.

Ohio played Miami of Ohio and trailed 7-17 at halftime.
Ohio played Kent State and trailed 7-28 at halftime.

Both games were played at home.

Granted, Ohio covered the second half in both these games, and quite convincingly.

But making these two teams equal on a neutral field seems insulting to the Buffalo Bulls. Is there anything about the weather that tilts this matchup in favour of the home team?..

I'm seeing Partly cloudy, 31 degrees F and wind blowing at 4mph. Line movement tells me Bulls are the play!

This line is definitely very resistant. Sharp folks want nothing to do with this game, or at least with Buffalo. I added more when it went to +3 (-105). Will be an exciting game for me!

This is a good cap. Thanks for this.

This is what's missing in the NCAAF forum.

What we normally get is some rando who's way down overall coming here and going "Buffalo +3, pound it!", then leaving.

                Total waste of everyone's time.

That always seems to happen here.

Guaranteed 90% of the people here wagering on Buffalo know little about them or whave even watched them play that much this year.

this was a waste of time also sorry to say, this isnt a cap at all its what anybody can find out. the key to this game is army dominated buffalo with a running game and a qb who can run, ohio runs prob best in the MAC and qb can run along with their qb option, buffalo cant handle that even when they know its coming

If anything this was 'a handicap' Joes would normally come up with before launching their bankrolls on the 9-1 team looking to clinch MAC East. The evident problem is this team is incapable to handle the Ohio running game.

My question here is, how did Kent State and Miami (OH) were able to handle it?

I wasnt bashing bro hope I wasnt showing bad taste in that post wasnt my intent. they were down big in those games like you said and had to come back had 4 to's against kent even though kent had 3 themselves maybe most of those by ohio were in the 1st half. against miami they avg. 6 yds a carry so they did their thing on the ground miami pretty decent themselves

Once again, people have no idea what they are talking about. First, pabon posts incorrect information, showing that he did not bother to check his information out. Then Ralphie makes a bigger fool out of himself by telling us that it was a good cap. Obviously Ralphie did not bother to check the information out. Then 95% of the fools in here take Buffalo, totally disregarding the fact that they are a road team in the MAC. Now my guess is that the vast majority of people claiming to have been on Buffalo did not wager on the game at all. They just wanted to try and look good. Air bettors, that ship has sailed and you are still on the dock.

From what I heard, a similar game is shaping up between Pittsburgh and Wake Forest. The former with great matchup could rush for 300 yards while the latter will the the public underdog. We'll see!

i've always wanted to get into quantitative handicapping, like the exact example.. big run team against poorish run D, even though the run D is pretty good for its level.

ohio was gangbusters before last week and then got stopped in their tracks...... not sure it was predictable that they bounce back really fast.

i would have figured buffalo's offense could have put much more together. and i don't see any hindsight statistical analysis to suggest it was foreseeable.

so much variance in NCAAF. often hard to justify results even after the fact.
