    external handicapping
there comes a time where there just might have to be some unconventionsal handicapping involved...so here goes..well, first i must say that i really like the over in the cmu game tonite..but, the under has covered 6 of 7 bowl games...very rarely are the oddsmakers on one side of the total 6 of 7 times.. and 90% these stats will eventually balance themselves to close to 50-50.. so, if you dont know how to bet, or its just one of those years, or if you just want action for the hell of it without handicapping, well then, this external handicapping is just for you....bet the over in the rest of the bowl games!!!!good luck

I don't handicap anything. I just go with the better team and who I actually think will cover the game overall. I don't know what stats you use to cap a game or anything I get on here when I just want to bet and go with the majority of what people are taking and there are a few people that I really listen to when they have an opinion on here. The last couple of weeks I have hit 3 3team parlays and 5 2team parlays and I haven't done a single statistic capped anything?? Call me stupid ok but I do understand the game and understand the better teams. Sometimes I just have the feeling to stay away from a game and take the dog plus the points. If I capped these games I get different things that I come up with and end up changing my mind when in all reality if I would have stuck with my gut feeling then I woluld have won instead of over thinking the game. So everyone has there own way of doing things so best of luck to everybody the rest of the way.

      ok

but i think the oddsmaker make the spreads in accordance to who they think the better team is..hitting a couple of three team parlays and some two team parlays is an everyday occurrence...but, dont you think that the odds makers would love to see you coming if you only bet the best teams... thats what the "line " is for.....in general, the joe q public thinks the same way that you do!! "bet the favorites"...........and for that reason, the bookmakers are in business...according to you, you either bet the favorites or you dont bet at all....well, good luck!!!!!!...you have an oxymoron in your statement... you stated that "you either go with the better team or the one that you think will cover" those 2 statements just about cover it all, dont they?? they are 2 different things...what happens if you dont think that the better team is going to cover??? what do you do?....the better team may be a 33 point favorite and win by 32.. they are still the better team, they just didnt cover the spread.so, according to what you said "i bet the best team or the team i think is going to cover" well, which one is it???thats what handicapping is for...the better team won, but didnt cover!!!

No I don't just bet the favorites, never said that. I took Philly yesterday and also took Jets neither one of those were favorites. Balt also along wit Sea, Den cost me but I don't just pick the favorites I promise I have Houston also yesterday had a pretty good day yesterday but no I don't always take the favorites. I guess I have a funny way of doing it... I go with who I think will cover whether that be the better team or the dog? Don't ask me it works for me and I guess to each his own.

I don't have any handicapping tools if you want to share some with me then I will take your advice and give me something else to consider. That is just the way that I have been doing it I don't bet thousands of dollars or anything like that so I guess if I did I would look at things different. But I make a little change and I guess it works for me. But if you have any information that you would like to share on how to cap games I would definately like to start looking at te games differently.

I made a slight play myself on the over 51 last night....was looking good when it was 21-7 with 10:00 left to go in the 2nd quarter. ALl of a sudden, the scoring stopped. Probably should have gone over...but oh well, it was a small play.
