West Virginia totally mishandled the clock on the last drive, but Texas' incompetent defense lets up a long TD pass.

And WTF is Herman doing not at least trying a hail mary pass on the last play instead of that dumb lateral play that never works? At least give yourself a shot at a tipped pass or penalty.

I don't get it. They had the ball at the 41, the QB could easily get it down inside the 10 or the end zone. Maybe a defender panics and tackles someone, a tipped ball. Obviously a long shot, but the lateral play gives you no shot.
