    This Weeks Big Games
A huge week for one conference. Not so much for the rest:

For the SEC West Championship and a trip to Atlanta on 12/1. Alabama @ LSU. The winner goes to Atlanta and the CC game to face the winner of the Georgia-Kentucky game. I can't see LSU in this game after the first half, especially when Sabin had an extra week to prepare. The opening line should be interesting.

For the SEC East Championship and a trip to Atlanta on 21/1. Georgia @ Kentucky. How Kentucky won yesterday is anyone's guess, but their offense looked rather pathetic aganst an average at best Missouri team. Georgia just rolled it up on Florida. It looks like we will get the Georgia-Alabama match up everyone wants to see on 12/1 in Atlanta.

Penn State @ Michigan. Penn State is eliminated from the Big 10 East race and has had a rather uninspiring October. They get a chance to knock Michigan out of the Playoff picture with a win in Ann Arbor on Saturday. Michigan? They had a solid October and seemed to have found their offense. They are also 0-6 after a bye week.

West Virginia @ Texas. A West Virginia win keeps them in the Big 12 Championship hunt and also keeps their very faint Playoff hopes alive. A Texas win gives them a leg up in getting to theBig 12 CC game, but they blew their chances of a Playoff spot last night.

Here is an interesting tidbit that means very little except a possible Rose Bowl Bid. Utah has two losses, both conference loss to both Washington teams. Every other Pac 12 West team has 3 losses. Their could be a rematch in the Pac 12 title between Washington State (another 1 loss fringe Playoff team) and Utah. Wazzu won the first game at home, 28-24.

I'm in a win-win situation. First, all homers are arse holes including yourself, so if Penn State wins, we may finally be rid of you. Second, I happen to think that the Penn State HC is an arsehole, a sentiment shared by a lot of Big 10 HC's. If they lose, it is no sweat off of my back. So you see, it really does not matter to me. Michingan can win out until they play Ohio State. Then Harbarf finds another way to choke and Michigan goes back to being the unimportant.
