    Kevin Sumlin is stealing money
Arizona is a poorly coached football team.

Utah on the other hand, is coached very well. This is a perfect example of why coaching matters so much.

Arizona could finish this season 4-8. Head scratching with the athletes they have.

not that it matters, but is khalil tate injured? out early........... ironically, RichRod's son at QB now.

it is shocking how bad arizona is... i will say replacing RR is tough as his teams/recruits are pretty unique. very undersized vis-a-vis what most other coaches run.

i am thinking about a strategy where you FADE teams with returning players in top 5 (or something like that) from Heisman race the previous year.

Still cracks me up that Tate publicly turned down Ken N from navy because he didn’t want to run the triple option. As if Ken N would run the same offense...

has tate had a run over 20 yards this season? he had so many last year.

RRod is such an underdog coach. good for lesser schools but not so good when you get to the big time. you're not supposed to do it with undersized players at giant state schools (michigan esp.... arizona probably ok for UDog strategy) ... tedford might be the same, but he's at an underdog school (fresno)... Leach is brilliant at WSU too

i'm really seeing a juxtaposition between coaches being expected to win right away (i realize arizona is getting slaughtered) vs. not having their own recruits.... seems like AD should make decision as to type of program and hire from that style. cross-styles takes a few years.

i presume tate wants to make NFL as QB............ no real idea as to his style but his passing #'s have been really good at times for Az.

My point is that Ken N wouldn’t run the triple option at Arizona if he had gotten the job. And that he’s a much better coach than sumlin

Tate is questionable for the UCLA game. It really does not matter. Sumlin took a scrambler and tried to turn him into a pocket passer. Stupid is as stupid does. It now appears that the great race experiment in Arizona will end up year one with neither Sumlin or Herman failing to win 6 games. With the ridiculously large number of unnecessary Bowl Games, one of the Arizona teams can still get a bowl bid.
