Westgate Posts Odds for Teams to REACH the CFB Playoff
Westgate Sportsbook posted the odds for College teams to reach the 2018-19 College Football Playoffs. These odds are just for the teams to get there, not to win it all:

    Bama 5/11
    Clemson, OhioSt 5/4
    Georgia 3/2
    Michigan, Washington 3/1
    Auburn 4/1
    Wisconsin 5/1
    OU, PennSt 6/1
FSU, Miami, MichSt, Notre Dame, Texas 7/1
    West Virginia 8/1
    Stanford, USC 10/1
    LSU, Virginia Tech 12/1
    MissSt, Texas A&M 15/1

Alabama is a huge favorite to get there and one look at their schedule tells you why. A very soft non-con schedule and crossover games against Missouri and @ Tennessee, couple with home Divisional games against Texas A&M, Miss. State, and Auburn makes the Tide worth the very short odds. My longshot pick? OU at 6/1.

I agree, but took the shoe in (Alabama) for insurance. Apparently 'Bama can lose a game and is still guaranteed a spot, no matter what game it is.

So the books have LSU only winning 6 or 7 games, but 12/1 to make the BCS??

Ridiculous. Another reason why futures bets are gigantic sucker moves. Anywhere from 18-35% house take. Right up there with Keno.

Ask any WINNING College and NFL player and he/she will tell you the same thing. You CANNOT win on a consistent basis if you do not play futures because of the numerous bad lines and the ability to find middles, which is by far, the best possible wager you can make in football. A winning middle pays off at 2/1. The MOST you can lose with a middle wager is one vig, or 1/10th of one wager. That adds up to 20/1 people. If you do not take advantage of that, you are NOT a professional player. Two winning middle wagers sets up the entire season.
