Ever notice how USC's QBs are always hyped and Heisman contenders? How they are always promoted as being the next great at the NFL level? Other than Carson Palmer it doesn't seem to work out and yet every year it is the same narrative out of LA.
I hope Sam Darnold has a long and lustrous career at the next level but I wouldn't bank on it.
