So far, there have only been two games involving ranked teams. Both of the ranked teams defeated their unranked opponents. The remaining games between ranked and unranked teams are the following (ranked teams listed first): N.C. State vs Arizona State. Northwestern vs Kentucky. Mississippi State vs Louisville. Memphis vs Iowa State. The only unranked team I like is Louisville, currently -6 1/2. After about 20 worthless trash Bowl Games, we finally get into some serious action after the Virginia-Navy joke is over. Va Tech vs Okie State, Stanford vs TCU, and Michigan State vs Washington State all involve ranked teams facing other ranked teams. Oddly enough, there is a New Years Day Bowl Game that features two unranked teams. The Outback Bowl pairs South Carolina and Michigan, two unranked teams.

As far as I know, yes. He will coach Arizona State. ASU is a very strange school with very strange administrators. You just never know what you are going to get with Arizona State. NC State defeated both Florida State (away) and Louisville, so they are capable of playing good ball. I would not touch ASU here. Probably a pass.Comment -
