I will never understand why so many of you guys in here love to make total and complete fools out of yourselves. How bad is Fresno State? Obviously better than Sportsguy04 and batt33, who decided that the game was over after the first 5 minutes of the first quarter.

one thing i'll never understand is this (and has nothing to do with OP's comments).

i see so much suggestion around that tedford did a bad job at california. some of it clearly people who have no idea about US college football (like people judging tedford's cal record when he was hired for the BC Lions in Canada)...

but certainly a fair number were NCAA football followers.......

Tedford had the Cal Bears one miscue away from being ranked the #1 team in the country. the Cal Bears!?!?!?

.... eventually the whole thing lost momentum and Tedford was fired. and Cal hasn't been much better. not sure they've been worse or not.

i'm canadian so maybe i'm biased but i think CFL coaches (tedford had two stints in canada and his defensive coordinator is long-time canadian player/coach) might be great hires for lesser teams. used to dealing with smaller and fast players on both defense and offense. perfect for teams that are perpetually mismatched vs. dominant franchise teams (Boise in Fresno's case)... fresno will never compete well vs. alabama who they played this year but no idea why they can't compete with 80% of Pac-12 teams.
