The high powered Cowboys are traveling to Morgantown to take on the Mountaineers. With two high powered offenses, the total is set at 71.5. When it's time for kickoff, however, its going to be steadily raining, and it will continue throughout the game (Weather Channel). Both offenses are going to put up numbers, but I don't see them reaching 65 with the weather conditions. The UNDER has hit in their last 4 matchups too.

What's the wind going to be like? Rain doesn't really affect totals and spreads as much as many think. It's wind that really affects it.

Wind shouldnt be a factor, 5-10 mph.

It's going to be tough to keep a dry football on the field. Both teams will be running the ball, which keeps the clock rolling. Going to be a slippery one.

Rain helps the offense because they know where the play is going and the defense must react. It is tougher to react with a wet field. That is why the total has gone up.

Rain does effect totals....it's an advantage to the passing game!! The WR knows where he is going, the defensive guy does not.......so it's harder to defend,easier to slip/fall for the guy on "D"...a wide open guy to catch to ball!.......If there is heavy rain,the passing game is nil.
