The -15 is a local, that's all I use. Mine was at 16 yesterday and it just dropped this morning. Still, at -16.5 it's a lock. They win by 3 TDs. Arkansas state is not that good and have stumbled out of the gate the last 2 years. It's a night game in Lincoln, one of the toughest places to play. The crowd will be electric. They are previewing their very highly touted transfer QB Tanner Lee who has shown he can make all the right plays. They're receivers are experienced and their O line is all coming back from last year and more importantly they're all healthy. Their defense is showing the 3-4 for the first time and Diaco will have the black shirts flying around making plays. They will impose their will on Arkansas state in the second half and run away with the game. A lot of new stuff being shown( offense and defensive systems). Players, fans and coaches are excited. Arkansas state will also be without their head coach who's wife was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this week (pray for her). In my mind this really depends on how Ark St. is. Nebraska is not some powerhouse like the past. I just don't know how to judge Ark St.

The QB is a Tulane transfer. Has never put up head turning numbers but he ran scout team last year and if you read all reports from the major camps he is a top 3 QB at every camp. I get it, it's camps and winning football games is what it's about but the kid has ALOT of hype about how good he could be. He looked great in the spring game as well. We will have to see if the hype is real, but I believe even if he's average Nebraska still covers pretty easy. Check out how Arkansas st started last year, they came out and played HORRIBLE the first 4 weeks. They have no chance of going into Lincoln, on a Saturday NIGHT and keeping it close.Comment -
Tanner Lee was garbage at Tulane, I doubt he does any better at Nebraska. This is the only reason I am staying away, he can only lose games for you not win them.Comment -
They also have a redshirt freshman behind him who set the California high school passing record. If you don't think Lee can get the job done, there are 2 kids behind him who can. Also, why are you arguing that point anyway. It is ARKANSAS ST, not Ohio state or even another big 10 team. Take Nebraska and quit overthinking it.Comment -
Armstrong was only starting because he was the best available. The system was kept more or less in place to fit him and win as many games as you could. He was never a great QB. His scrambling and indecisiveness led to way too many turn overs and the O line looking like trash because they were forced to block for 5-6 seconds instead of 3. It's no secret the new coaching staff was waiting for him to leave to switch the offense. It allowed them to win games and build their own guys for the QB in their offense they wanted to run. Lee is that guy, followed by Patrick Obrien. Lee knows the new offense and has big time play makers as receivers in Stanley Morgan and Pierson-el who can torch a defense. They lost 3 tight ends last year due to graduation but have reloaded in the position with talent that looks like it will be game ready, especially versus a team like Arkansas state.Comment
