Is this publication defunct? I couldn't find it last year anywhere and can't find anything about it on the web. I had the 2015 magazine and it was useful. Thanks

#2The last I heard was that he was trying to make a comeback in 2017 in the fantasy realm of college football. Apparently everything fell apart for him in 2016. This has been the trend for Football Rags lately. Going back 10 years, you had Athlon, Lindy's, Steele, Game Plan, Sporting News, USA Today, ESPN, Blue Ribbon, Feist, Street and Smith, and Southern College Sports. Flash Forward 10 years and all that is left is Athlon, USA Today, ESPN, Lindy's, and Steele. Street and Smith merged with the Sporting News after missing 2016.Comment -

#5Thanks for the info. I like Marc Lawrence's Playbook for tracking stuff but it's not really a season preview like the ones you mention.Comment -

#6Lawrence claims to be a three way 'capper, (Functional, Situational, and Technical) but leans heavily on the technical aspect of the game. His Magazine is very handy when it comes to having that type of information at your fingertips.Comment -

#8I have personally known Mark since the Stardust Sports Book Days. He puts in a lot of effort during the Football season, but like all of the other Touts, his success is questionable at best. Last season he picked Houston to win the AAC, Miami to win the ACC Coastal, Florida State to win the ACC Atlantic, Michigan to win the Big 10 East, Iowa in the West, Oklahoma in the Big 12, Western Ky in the CUSA East, Southern Miss in the West, Ohio in the MAC East, Western Michigan in the West, Boise State and San Diego State in the MWC East and West, Washington and USC in the Pac 12 North and South, Tennessee and LSU in the SEC East and West, and Arkansas State in the Sun Belt. He ended up 7-10 overall, and 2-7 in the Power 5 Conferences. Not good. The other touts were not much better. Mark's game is Technical, not Fundamental.Comment -

#9I believe you meant to say "fundamental," not "functional."Comment
