Bowl Schedule - WTF?

I'm one of the biggest fans of the MAC conference, but this just doesn't look or feel right at all:

Rose January 1 BCS vs.
at Pasadena, California (5:00 p.m. - ABC) BCS

Fiesta January 1 BCS vs.
at Phoenix, Arizona (8:30 p.m. - FOX) BCS

Orange January 2 BCS vs.
at Miami, Florida (8:00 p.m. - FOX) BCS

Sugar January 3 BCS vs.
at New Orleans, Louisiana (8:00 p.m. - FOX) BCS

International ~ January 6 Western Michigan (8-4) vs.
at Toronto, Ontario (12:00 p.m. - ESPN2) Big East #4/#5

GMAC January 7 Ohio vs.
at Mobile, Alabama (8:00 p.m. - ESPN) Conference USA #2

BCS National Championship January 8 Ohio St (12-0) vs.
at Glendale, Arizona (8:00 p.m. - FOX) BCS #2

GMAC made the change this year saying they will have a better audience. I can you really blame them at all though. However, the International bowl is a new bowl, and I have no idea as to why they would come out with a new bowl up north like that.

Didn't I see that No Illinois was playing TCU in the very first bowl game?
And what about Central Mich ?
That would make 4 bowl teams. That's pretty good for us MAC fans.

I'm thinking Ohio, West. Michigan, Cent. Michigan and maybe No. Illinois (although they pretty much stink)...
