I follow Nebraska about as close as anyone... (my fathers alma mater)... This is not a good spot for Nebraska... No QB (Armstrong out), missing best WR (Westerkamp, the chain mover). Starting all-american safety (Gerry) out for academics...

The starting QB is a walk on who broke his arm in the Maryland game.. did not play in Iowa game... he is going to be playing with a broken left wrist that is only 4 weeks healed (6 normal recovery)...

The only chance Nebraska has is for the Vols to be disinterested and turn the ball over... Nebraska will have to win this on defense by getting takeaways and then holding on to the ball to keep UT offense off.

I think Vols win this by 21+

I would actually be surprised by a blow out. Everything you said is spot on, but they tend to play tough in meaningless bowl games. They were outmatched 2 years ago against SC and keep it close and beat UCLA last year. If the pull their heads out of their ass and throw the ball to their bad ass TE that is just getting healthy they will move the ball on UT. Stanley Morgan is good and they can run the ball some. I'd be surprised if it's more than 10. I played UT at -3 weeks ago and have NU at +9.5 now.
