    Thoughts on Northwestern vs Pitt
I don't wish to say what I'm picking yet, just want to see people's opinions and discuss.

I think its a no brainier on a team and on the over under. I've had this circled since the bowl schedule was released.

    What is everyone thinking here??

I like the OVER on this match up. Pitt has let opponents run up huge numbers all year. BoL on your play. Lean NW on the spead and for the win.

This is the best value I've seen on the board, other than Washington State's team total against a shorthanded Minnesota secondary. Pitt should absolutely roll in this game. NW is terrible in bowl games.

NW is gritty and will grind you out. Pitt regardless of how far down they might be will never go away and i don't care if Pitt is down three td's they often comeback and win. This is a great matchup and may be some good value for live investments.

Since the discussion has started, I guess I'll put it out there that I'm a huge Pitt fan and I love the over as well. I don't like betting with my heart, but love them in this spot.

I'm curious if anyone has serious insight about northwestern. I know nothing about them besides what their schedule/results say. Do they have the fire power to keep up with Pitts offense?

Pitts running type offense I think fairs well in a bowl game and also against big ten type defenses.

Northwestern decent against the run. Not so good against the pass. How is Pittsburgh's passing game?

If Pittsburgh wants to play, they could hang 45. Big if though. I still think this one gets a little wacky with no defense.

Pitt are second last against the pass in the FBS. I thought the total would be around 71 or so.

Their quarterback has been on fire too with 12 touchdowns to 1 interception the last three games. Who knows with these bowl games, he could come out rusty and throw 3 picks.
