    College Bowl Rushing Systems
i remember "better rushing team" being a key system in past years.

so thought i'd resurrect it here....... and i've also seen 200 yards rushing offense being good filter.\\

so here goes - and i use a little discretion on cases where yards are very close - like today UCF bests Ark State by 1 yard in its rushing average. so i disregarded it.... i'll use 20 yards and 0.3 ypc as the exclusive cutoffs

    rushing yards:

    nm
    sds
    app st.
    so miss

    ypc:

    nm sds appst lt

200 yards plus (and take better team if both qualify... * both qualified)

    nm sds appst*

super filter (better run d and run o, and over 200 yards rushing... again, ok if both teams over 200 yards)

    app state.

as you can see the systems give you a similar list of names...... nm, sds, appst are obvious rushing system plays today.

i posted this after NM game started but it's a system not a discretionary pick....... and NM was negative EV when i posted this.

systems are all 1-1 so far except last one that just plays app state.

what happened in SDSU game? shocked at final score as houston was all over them first half. SDSU was lucky not to be down pretty big at the half.. and i'm an SDSU supporter in general.

rushing yards 3-1............. ypc 2-2.......... rushing yards makes more sense with my theory. good rushing team and/or rushes alot.

tulsa is pick for all 4 systems today...

NO PLAY all the systems for memphis-wk tomorrow....

igor, did i grade a game wrongly? i thought one of the first two system has to be 3-1 and the other 2-2 as they had different teams in the last game.

there are 4 systems, fairly similar.

              i have them at 3-1, 2-2, 2-1, and 1-0 B4 CM/Tulsa game, which is a W............

i will make it easier by just reporting rushing yard system and super system.............so they are 4-1 and 2-0 now... and yards per game makes more sense than ypc as i want to highlight teams that rush alot. they DON'T have to be "better" rushing teams i.e. YPC.

              now i'm slightly confused myself

EDIT: ok the first main system that i'll track from now on is just rushing yards per game and does NOT require 200 yards per game to qualify.. one game on saturday didn't qualify as the teams were only 1 yard apart on yards per game... i'll do a 20 yard filter which was my general intention.

ok, i may have had the wrong matchup in the so miss-LL. my system may have evaluated LT-SM............ season rushing numbers are fairly close for LL-SM after the game and i don't feel like going to source right now to check the data so i'll just NO PLAY the game for now.
so 3-1 for main system (rush yards per game, min advantage 20 yards/game). and 2-0 for super system

                rush yards per game 3-1:

                csu
                od
                navy
                ohio troy no play
                mtsu
                byu-wy no play

super system 2-0 (better rush yards, rush ypc offense AND defense, over 200 yards rush/game),

                mtsu.

old dominion missed being a pick by 1 yard per game.... so i'll report it in thread but NOT record.

just for me to keep track:

ypc system 3-1: csu, od, nvy, troy, mtsu

over 200 yards candidates: csu, navy mtsu... combine this with yards/game and ypc systems

CSU looking terrible at the half............ looks to work to win the game, let alone cover by 15 points.

CSU is a L for both main systems.

so YPC 4-2... rush yards 3-2

od = L for both systems. Navy = W for both.

                          so treading water.

                          ypc 5-3, rush yards 4-3...

ypc = troy. rush yards no play..............

od missed being a super system play by 1 yard. would have been L.......... i said well before game that i would just mention the result here but not as part of the record.

mtsu tomorrow for all 3 systems
                          gonna look at monday games
