Will be lots of talk about the three-headed attack of the Lobos. UTSA rushes for 3.something and gives up about 4.5 yards rushing. Lots of bad ratings for UTSA, lots of good ratings for New Mexico -- that is an automatic play on the public fave. Practically a home game for the Lobos.

Appalachian State vs Toledo
About the same strength of schedule so we can interpret the numbers as is. Have to go with the better defensive team here. Mountaineers red-zone defense is pretty stiff -- only 10 TD's allowed all season; 9 if you take out the special teams fumble TD by Georgia Southern.
The announcers will talk about the QB's, RB's, and them baam! -- Clifton Duck. The turnover margin is in favor of the Mountaineers thanks to this guy's interceptions. Ther other side -- DeJuan Roders, tackles leader.
According to my spreadsheet: good ratings for State's defense and below average rating for Toledo's defense.
Familiar spot for the Mountaineers as they were here last year. They beat another MAC team, Ohio, in 2015. Shorter trip for Appalachian State to Alabama. Expect a rousing crowd of black and gold.
