Auburn? 8-4 Auburn? The only reason why Auburn is there is because Tennessee could not defeat South Carolina or Vandy. OU has way too much offense for them.

It was a rhetorical question, Auburn would be -5.5 or -6 over Houston on a neutral field. My main point is Oklahoma was the best team of a poor conference, and they failed in their only two attempts at validation. That is why this line is "suspiciously" low in fact having dropped from an opener of -5. Model has this close to a Pick, Oklahoma -0.70

Good luck LT. I've seen Auburn too many times this year. Their qb situation is about like Navy's last week. All of them play like 4th stringers. I'm going heavy on Stoops having more to play for than Auburn.

I like Auburn in the underdog role in this game. They'll hear all of the above in the weeks preceding the game... about how they don't belong, they are overmatched, will get blown out etc. That is often a huge edge for the underdog.

Auburn has plenty of time to sort out the quarterback situation and add a few wrinkles to boot. Let's not forget how bad Oklahoma's defense actually is. Their defense alone will keep Auburn in the game, regardless of what you think about Auburn's offense. The real matchup is OU's offense vs. Auburn's defense. If the Tigers can offer some resistance on that side of the ball, they'll have every opportunity to win the game outright.

Wyoming is a solid play getting that many points against a BYU team that had 7 of their 12 games decided by 7 points or less. Wyoming is now +10 in Vegas. San Diego State already showed the world how good the MWC can be, and Wyoming went 1-1 in two colse games against them.
