Electrons vs BigDaddy

Two years ago myself and BigDaddy had a bet similar to this one... he reneged on that bet. The stakes, again, like this bet, were of a charitable nature, though more so with one's time than money.

BigDaddy said he would spend 30 hours of his free time, hours documented by a third party, mind you, at a local animal shelter if he lost the bet. He talked of cuddling little retarded puppies, and snoggling little puffy hamsters, and nuzzling goopy little guppies, in the event that he was on the losing end of our agreed upon wager. He boasted that it was a win/win proposition because of his love of animals.

He told me that he would dress up in a silly little monkey suit and lark about the shelter, frolicking with all the critters who longed for a permanent home. He said that he would roll around the floor and piss himself in an effort to make them feel comfortable around him. He spoke of a time when he nursed an orphaned baby owl back to health with heartening affirmations and his nourishing teat.

I questioned the veracity of these claims, and even pointed out the fact that birds don't nurse as they are not mammals, but he insisted with all the fevered passion that only a war-vet could muster and I relented.

Needless to say, I won the bet by a very wide margin and looked forward to BigD living up to his promise.... BUT HE LIED. Holy Moses did this man lie. I called the animal shelter which was supposed to be the beneficiary of BigDaddy's good deeds and boy oh boy did I get a story... They said he showed up in a drunken stupor, clad in camouflage cargo pants and a wife-beater. He did not snoggle with all the fluffy little hamsters, or cradle and coddle the retarded little puppies and parakeets. What he did in fact was profoundly discouraging. The staff members informed me that he just sat on the floor chain-smoking cigarettes and exhaling plumes of carbon monoxide into the mugs of the furry creatures there who only wanted love and attention, not face-fulls of Pall Mall smog.

I was saddened by this development and it doesn't surprise me that he's screwing around in this thread now and making other people out to be the bad guy. I don't know what's going here, but I know what I know, and what I know doesn't paint a very flattering picture of this BigDaddy fella.

I have no idea what happened to him, but I know that he is a notorious liar. He will not dome back until he can come up with an excuse for his loss to me. We shall see.

Just be careful who you get into actual money bets with here.

Remember, the VAST majority of people here are super broke, and the allure of betpoints is what keeps them active. Crumb-snatchers. Then they call you broke for not going pro (I'll just buy a pizza when I want one, thanks). I've been broke many of times, and it took a lot to not try and bring others down with me, it's tough, I get it. But the fact still remains.

I have the ability to trace his home address through his IP address and find him. I also have been trained to deal with lowlifes like him and have done so. . The only question is if I want to take the time to do so. It is the busy season for me now. If I decide to take some action, no one in here will know about it.

To be honest, the morons on ESPN and CBS kind of ruin the season with their constant talk about who should be in the Playoffs from day 1. A good example of this is all of the Big 10 homer talk. The fools at ESPN talk about how Penn State should have been in the Playoffs over Washington, yet Penn State is a 7 point dog to a 9-3 USC team in the Rose Bowl.
