All I've heard is how the defense is one of the worst in FBS and such. When you play TCU and Texas A&M on the road AND Alabama at home, that tends to happen. They held their 2 scrub opponents to a combined 13 points. I admit they looked bad in 2 of their big games but they shut out TCU for 3 quarters before giving up 21 in the 4th. TCU only averaged like 6.5 yards per pass attempt but like most, they averaged about 6 YPC as well. I'm not denying that Alabama and Texas A&M killed them but people gloss over that game last week vs Bama like it wasn't close or something. Arkansas was down 18 in the last 2-3 minutes inside the Bama 20 and threatening to cover the 14 before a crazy 100 yard pick six destroyed their cover. I feel like 14 was too many points last week (I was on Arky) and it could have been closer without the 5 Arky turnovers (-2 turnover diff.)

you are leaving out the la tech game where they were even in yards and losing late in the 4th. tcu sucks and almost lost to kansas. looking at the tcu game stats it looks like tcu outgained them significantly just lost from turnovers. alabama game was over at halftime.Comment -
I have followed Arkansas heavily the last few years. I got on in the Texas Tech game 2 years ago when they were a dog and been fortunate to literally cover every time I wagered on them with the spread until the Alabama game. I knew I should of stayed away, but I couldn't help it being on Arkansas threw the run I have had with them I had to fire at home vs Bama. This problem is well put together regardless of what you think about Bret his guys really have a way to getting threw to there guys and making them show up every single game. That is why I trusted this team with my money for so long.
Regardless of the numbers Austin put up he made key mistakes in key moments. But I agree the game was over at half time. But consider this as much as Bama dominated them to the naked eye arkansas was a score from covering this thing against a bama d that didn't seem to engaged on the last possession. All this been said I feel like they are trending in a different direction and I am sure what to think. One thing I do like is the over.Comment
