Some of it is playing it on New Year's Eve. The other part is the matchups weren't all that "sexy" like they were last year. Last year had a lot of intrigue. This year it was kinda "bleh". I think if you would have gotten a Bama-Oklahoma and Clemson-Ohio State semi, ratings would have been a lot better.Comment -
Next year the Peach and Fiesta Bowls get the playoffs. They will be played on New Years Eve, which falls on a Saturday. The Cotton Bowl will be moved to Monday. No College Football on Sunday. I agree that the match-ups were terrible. That is because everyone thought that Oklahoma would defeat Clemson and play Alabama for the Championship. I guess no one expected OU to be as bad as they were. What does that make. Clemson 77, OU 23 in the last two years?Comment -
