I honestly think Iowa +6.5 is the best play of the bowl season
Not sure about the ML, but I think they cover the spread with ease.

It's been like 25 years since Iowa last played in Pasadena.
Stanford's here for what, the third or fourth time in the last 10 years?

I've watched a lot of both teams this year. I don't see a huge gap. I think this should be a 3/4 point spread.
We'll see.

First play from scrimmage -- McCaffrey out of the backfield on a pass for a 75-yard TD.

No. First throw and mccafrey was just wide open and ran it all the way in.

Who has Iowa played though? Of course they look good against teams like Rutgers and Maryland, but Stanford is a much different animal. I could be wrong, but I just don't understand the Iowa love.

No transitive property in sports, but Iowa routed Northwestern, who soundly beat Stanford, so there's that.
Iowa also won at Wisconsin, beat Pitt, and almost took down Michigan State.

That was quick. The game is over. It's a new year but one thing is clear, outside of Ohio St the Big Ten is trash. Michigan St embarrassed, Northwestern embarrassed, and now Iowa.

Really need Iowa to do something on offense for the sake of the over.

You cant base your pick off that one northwestern game. Standford imo is the obvious choice. Standford every since that lose has destroyed teams. Getting quality wins, while Iowa just barely scraped by. Clearly the standford and northwestern game was a fluke.

Dont worry, standford will keep this going. You might have to worry though because they do kill a lot of clock. I think youll be okay. Whats the over?

I didn't base my pick off of that. The guy asked who Iowa had beaten.
I'm not going to put 10 units on a play for one reason in a theory I don't even believe in.

I have over 52 for the game and over 27 +120 for the first half.
Even though Stanford got two quick Tds, I still feel uncomfortable about it. Not sure why I still even play totals.
I leaned Stanford but they weren't the obvious choice, otherwise I would have bet them. Hindsight is always 20/20.....that's why I took the over instead of Stanford.

Total dropped 2 full points in the hours before kickoff, so yeah, you should be good to go.

Not sure I would say beating NW and Pitt is all that impressive. Nice win at Wisconsin. Sometimes it's just gut feeling. Saw a lot of Stanford football and they just look better on the field to me. The worry for Stanford is their defense. Their one weakness and Iowa needs to take advantage of it.

The total looked a little high and then I saw it drop which meant a lot of people must have thought the same thing. Typically when this happens, it's best to fade the line movement.
I knew Stanford had a good offense and I've also seen Stanford's defense give up it's share of points so why not take a gamble. I needed action on the Rose Bowl anyway....lol

LOLOLOL, Stanford athletes are so much better then Iowa's. Literally all you had to do is follow nfl draft people to know that. That is why you are on SBR and they are actually get paid to watch football.
