    Uceless Strikes Again
Congrats to all who had Nebraska and watched them trample UCLA last night. This is so typical of UCLA. This is why UCLA will never become the power that USC is. UCLA has a habit of going straight into the tank in the 4th year of a head coaching cycle. Under Carl Dorell UCLA lost 7 games in his 4th year. Rick Neuheisel lost 8 games in his 4th year. Jim Mora lost 5 games in this, his 4th season at UCLA. In their last 4 games, UCLA went 1-3 under each head coach in year 4. UCLA simply does not have the interest needed to produce winners on a consistant basis. Bob Toledo was fired after 6 years. Carl Dorrell after 5 years. Rich Neuheisel after 4 years. Do we see a pattern developing here.

Here is a little hint about net season. Do not be surprised to see Jim Mora moving to the NFL, especially if the San Diego (possibly Los Angeles) Chargers fire Mike McCoy. McCoy will most likely end up with a 23-27 W-L record overall when this season ends. Mora and his family love the Southern California area and have the experience needed to step in to a program with a solid QB, but needing defensive help.

Never understood why they aren't a better program than they are. I laughed at all those who had them in the final 4 this preseason...

They simply do not have it. They do not have what it takes to be a contender year after year after year. Look at USC. they are coming off a very unfair probation. UCLA had a huge recruiting advantage over USC for 4 years. UCLA defeated USC head to head in three of those four years. Now you would think that UCLA has really made up some ground on USC in the recruiting wars. So what happens? The year that their probation ends, USC slam dunks UCLA and wins the PAC 12 South, putting UCLA right back in their place as the #2 team in L.A. It will never change.
