Take La Tech -1 tonite!! The local teams that have played in this bowl (S. Miss and La. Lafayette) are a combined 7-1 straight up. Appalachian State is in the Sun Belt with Ark State and they're losing by 10 to Ohio. Ark State lost by 30 to Toledo last year in a bowl. La Tech played @ W Kentucky this year and only lost by 3. They went to K-State and hung with them too....losing by 6. This game is like putting a $5,000 claiming horse against a $10,000 claimer. La Tech's just a small cut above but it was make a difference when its combined with the home crowd and Skip Holtz is a good coach too while Ark St changes coaches like I change underwear.

I have never, ever seen a coaching blunder like LA Tech just pulled. Offense with no TOs runs up the middle with 23 seconds left, clock running, refs unpiling everyone, and the defense calls TO!

This game has every tiny thing being called as a penalty which makes it hard to watch. LA Tech player getting tripped at 12 yard line with no time left in Q2 could end up being huge. Awful TO call as well, the Arkansas State coach couldn't believe his luck.

I don't know whats going on with Skip Holtz tonite? They might have scored in the 1st half anyway but it was idiotic? Then they just had 1st/goal at the 3 with one of college's alltime leading scorers in Kenneth Dixon and THEY NEVER RAN THE BALL ONCE
