    Can Navy cover the -22?
I see that they beat Memphis on the road by 25, so they can definitely put up some points. Army may have a hard time keeping up with Keenan Reynolds. I just read that the Navy coach is going to visit BYU on Monday, I wonder if that causes any distractions...

You gotta think Army comes out with a chip on their shoulder because Navy has beat them 13 times in a row. This has to be the game they get up for the most this season. They're 2-9, but a lot of their losses have been close.

Really torn on this - thoughts? Anybody betting this?

This is a very tough call.

The two best teams Army has played were Penn State and Duke. Penn State not much of an offensive powerhouse but held them to just two touchdowns. Duke on the other hand absolutely annihilated them in NY, 44-3. Navy is better than both these teams and has no trouble putting up a big number on anyone in the American. Their biggest issue this season has been on the defensive side of the ball and Army has failed to score more than 14 points on any team in the top 90 this year.

I don't think I will play this game but if I had to I would be laying the 22.

Stats mean nothing in this game. Last year navy was -17 and won 17-10. Army is 3-1 ATS in the last 4 games. Navy's biggest winning margin is 27 in those games. Tough call. I will pass.

Army is usually good for a few fumbles in the redzone too

The puzzling thing in this game is why the total is so high

I think that Navy could easily put up 40+

It seems as if everyone is on Navy. Knowing this groups win rate, it may be time to put a few bucks on Army. Then again, 22 points is a highly suspicious line. That seems to indicate that the books were waiting to see which way the players would go, and they went nowhere.

I dont see it Mo. These teams are relatively better defensively vs each other because they know the system. Navy usually lights up teams that never play vs the option. Plus these games are so damn slow paced that possessions are limited. Army burns 5 mins off the clock going from the 20 to the 40 lol

Thats a good point. I haven't really looked very far into this game. Just spent 5 minutes going over game logs. Though I have a feeling that Army will do a decent amount of punting and that time of possession will drastically favour the midshipmen. Under probably a good bet but don't under-appreciate how much better Navy actually is.

i got on the under 52 when the week opened up. also like the under on the 1st half.

if i had to bet on a side, i'd go on army as they usually will play above their talent level in this game.
