Bama favored by 9 is insane. Wondering if Vegas knows something

Bama is the best team in college football right now.

Advanced metrics heavily favour them. Mush State easily the weakest team in the playoff. Their best wins were all by very slim margins, though to their credit we all on the road.

Line feels about right. -7 would have been too easy and even -9, while seeming a bit high, makes me want to pound the tide.

But they win big. They dominate good teams. Yeah MSU has good wins but they haven't looked dominant and got lucky a couple times.

Though they should also probably be 12-0 because of that blown call at the end of Nebraska game.

Say what you want about the SEC but their are a ton of very strong teams, especially in the SEC west.

Or have 2 losses. Forget about the Mich game already?

Yeah but at least that wasn't a blown call.

Nebraska game they legitimately should have won as there should have been an illegal touching penalty.

At least they won the Michigan game fair and square.

The SEC East is absolutely pathetic. Florida scored 17 points in their last two games, 2 of which were on a safety, and 7 of which were on a punt return. Just terrible. Georgia and South Carolina got rid of their head coaches. Missouri's HC quit. Kentucky starts the season at 4-1 and finishes at 1-6. Vandy's offense is so pathetic that they go Under the total in their first 11 games. That is how bad the SEC East is. Alabama is good, but 9 to 9 1/2 points may be too many.

Connor cook should be healthy for this game. Mich St is the play. Line is 9 because its bama

Bama will definitely win. MSU is too slow. The best players on the field all play for Bama and with Drew Bledsoe (cook) back there at QB I see a 30-16 win.

dantonio always gets his teams ready for the big games. who exactly has bama beaten? I'm sure they are a solid team, but losing to a 3 loss ole miss team, beating an overrated Lsu team, im not sure the SEC was as great this year as it was in the past. Their wins just dont seem overly impressive. I think MSU can keep this within a TD.

This is silly. We can go back and forward with this. Who has MSU beaten? Michigan's offense was awful. And if MSU can barely score on Iowa or Ohio St. You know they ain't gonna score no more than 17 on Alabama.

Lines are what they are because thats about what it should be, Bama's line actually set a little lower because it should get bet to 10, but "sharps" may be a little leery to bet it to 10, but it should be at least 10 by the numbers, thats why they set it at 9. Same with Sooner line, they expect it to be bet to 3. Thats how you make money as a book and the linesmaker keeps his job, its not rocket science if you understand what theyre doing. When you anticipate money coming one way you set the line a little lower, some other things to take into consideration like if the public normally bets more on that particular team and what not, but those numbers are about right. By the numbers the correct bets would be take Sooners at -2.5 and take Bama at -9.
