Nebraska gives Iowa their 1st loss
Nebraska is better than their record indicates (5 losses by 5 pts. or less) and are very competitive at home.

Iowa is coming off a short week....Nebraska off a bye week.

A non-factor, but Nebraska going for 6th win to become bowl eligible.

Its definitely gonna be a close game, which Vegas already pointed out. The only money I will put on this game is if the line moves towards Iowa more so I can hit Nebraska ML

What you do not realize is that Nebraska has a terrible HC, capable of blowing just about any size lead. Iowa wants this game more and has the better athletes. That is all that matters. The line will be around 1. Either take Iowa or pass.

I love the..... Iowa wants this game more statement. Beating an undefeated Iowa is huge for this Nebraska team. Iowa us over rated, not tested. Both teams WANT this win bad! No way you can say Iowa wants it more.

Don't pay any attention to BigDumbAssQH, he is the consummate ASSHAT. He's been using the "they have nothing to play for" bromide all season. Or the equally trite "they need this win to keep their bowl
hopes alive". Vacuous platitudes but what else can you expect from an empty suit?

Check out his brilliant analysis of the Air Force/Colorado State game:

"So we have a 3-2 Air Force team looking to run off 4 wins in a row to insure themselves a bowl bid at a 2-4 Colorado State team looking for the season to end. Air Force is 3-1 ATS in their last 4 games and 6-2 in their last 8 efforts against Colorado State. So why did the linesmakers make this a pick 'em? It looks like a gift to me"

Such stupid "logic" should immediately destroy what little credibility he has left. If you dissect his "analysis" the exact same logic could have been applied to Colorado State needing this game to insure themselves a bowl bid considering they had 6 games left and needed to win at least 4 of them. And no, Colorado State wasn't "looking for the season to end" witness the fact that they won 4 of their next 5 games.

Oh and did I mention BigDumbAssQH's "gift" lost 38-23 in a drubbing that was even worse than the score indicates.

The guy is one of the biggest phonies on SBR.

Nebraska is horrible....then again, they beat Michigan State. That's a testament to the fact Mich State ain't all that great, either.

and MSU beat Ohio State. There really aren't any elite teams this year, including Bama or Clemson. Iowa is highly overrated but they've been playing flawed teams, which means they could keep on winning. Hell, look at UF, they have 10 wins but look like shit playing horrible opponents. They've benefited playing in a bad SEC East.

I hope NB can beat Iowa because I hate seeing teams at the top that haven't played ANYONE with a pulse. Iowa's OOC schedule is horseshit and should prevent them from getting in the playoff.

Children of the Corn are scary! They gave MSU all they can handle in that 1 pt victory.

VERY tough at home. I REALLY like this spot for Neb.

Minnesota had the key to beating Iowa. If Janiwich doesn't have 100 yrds. And stretch Armstrong about the same the skers lose. Stretch doesn't know a 5 yard pass. He knows throw it up for 30. And hopefully a guy with the N

Well, Bigdaddy isn't always wrong. Nebraska has a ton of walk-ons in the two deep.
